Pneumonia
Lack of
oxygen due to the inflammation of the lung caused by viruses, bacteria or
irritants. There are low chances of survival for a rabbit with
pneumonia.
Symptoms
You
will see a bluish color in rabbit’s lips, tongue and ears.
Treatment and prevention
Prevent the rabbit against heat stress. Find a
good place for your rabbits in an area where they’re protected from extreme hot
weather. Monitor air supply inside the rabbitry use ventilation system if
necessary.
